We are thrilled to return for our second year of celebrating the people, places, and businesses that make Centre County such a vibrant and welcoming community — all chosen by the people who know it best: you.

 

Our readers and residents take great pride in where they live, and that local knowledge and passion are exactly why the Centre Daily Times created this program. Centre County Favorites was designed to showcase the area’s top businesses and organizations while strengthening community connections and supporting the local economy.

 

This year, more than 1,700 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed across 196 categories, with the community casting over 108,000 votes — an impressive 68% increase from last year. This remarkable growth is a true testament to the pride and loyalty Centre County residents have for their local favorites.

 

A program of this scale is only possible thanks to a dedicated local team, engaged voters, and the strong support of our advertisers. We are grateful to everyone who played a role in making our second year such a success.
